Gemma Ward - Character Sketchbook 135
July 11, 2012

Hey Friends~
Tonight I was digging through my old Character Sketchbook drawings and it made me nostalgic. It made me miss doodling in that book all day and everyday. That was one of the my favorite projects that i have worked on. I need to start up again on Volume 3. Today's Drawing was inspired from Vogue Paris February 2005 Baby Doll Diva. If you don't know know what the character sketch book is you can read up about it Here. Also I've been wanting to do some fashion photography lately, and have been thinking about shooting some editorials. Hopefully I can get that going soon. :)
Book update: 277 pages written and half way through chapter 12! :)

I love your artwork. Very beautiful. You inspire me to draw beautiful people all the time. :)
Good luck with the editorial stuff, can't wait to see your work.
Stunning. More than stunning. I´ve always been SOOO inspired by your artwork and you should know how brilliant you are as an artist, really. I'm just so happy that I´ve found your blog and you´re definitely one of my favorite artists. Keep drawing, painting, writing and bloging as far as you live, please - haha :D // Sara Andersson, Sweden

Thank you! :) I can't wait to share it with you :)
(Those fingers... I can't stop looking at them, they're so beautifully drawn. The raw, boniness of them is stunning. 8|) And I would love seeing how your artistic style translates to photographic, editorial work! I can only imagine how unique a perspective you would bring to the lens.
Oh thank you Emily! really means alot. I've just been want to do it a lot lately so hopefully something works out ;)
